Said my credit score had dropped 10 points but I haven’t missed any payments to any notices I’ve ever received and heal pay as I go on anything I buy plus could not call ato a live agent to find out w

I do not even know what wallet hub is ! I do not know why my credit score has gone down 10 points because I pay everything as soon as I have the bill!

My credit card is paid every month to 0 balance! Maybe it is because I seldom use a credit card but having no way to speak to a live representative stinks

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They told me that I needed to create a new account answer the security questions and then the old account would be disabled and the new account with my personal information would be the valid account.

Wrong telephone number provided. You have to email there customer support. So that is what I did and am now waiting on a response to clear up issue and have account deleted and a letter of termination to provide to the credit bureaus.

I would like to cancel my wallethub account because you are causing my credit score to go down it has gone from fair to bad and I do not understand why CANCEL MY WALLETHUB ACOOUNT KNOW AND STOP GIVING MY INFIRMATION OUT TO OTHER COMPANIES AND TELLING ME TO INCREASE MY CREDIT LIMIT ON MY CARDS AND TO GET ANOTHER CTEDIT CARD I CAN NOT DO THAT AT ALL I AM ON A FIXED INCOME EVERY MONTH

Hi Belen! WalletHub cannot lower or change your score in any way.

It simply shows you your credit score and credit report as provided by TransUnion. You can check the reasons behind your credit score dropping by pressing the "Recent Changes" button on your Dashboard. If you don't find any changes there, it is recommended that you check out your credit report timeline as well. Regarding your information, please know that WalletHub only shares your data with partners as a way to match you with financial offers.

As for the offers you see, WalletHub believes that credit score improvement is just as important as saving money and provides recommendations for both. However, it’s up to you to decide which is more important to you at any given moment. You can dismiss any offer you see on your Dashboard by pressing "Dismiss" and providing a reason. Once done, the offer won't appear again.

Finally, to delete your account, please contact the WalletHub Help team via email at help at wallethub dot com. Also, please be sure to check your spam folder in case you don't find their responses in your inbox.

Hi Jamill! Just to clarify, WalletHub is not a bank or lender; it's a personal finance company offering free credit scores and reports to users.

Regarding the soft inquiries you saw as coming from WalletHub, please keep in mind that these have no impact on your score and are only visible to you. Hard inquiries, on other hand, are when a lender pulls your info after a credit application. Since you didn't create a WalletHub account, it could mean that someone tried to register using your information. For security reasons, WalletHub has no way to look up users based on their name.

To be able to find and delete the account that might have been set up using your information, you would need to create a WalletHub account with your email address and verify your identity.

IP address needs unblocked

First I get all these emails saying that I'm pre-approved for all these bank cards which in fact I am not which I found out after filling out hundreds of applications to different banking outfits that they sold my info to and have now been emailing me that I'm pre-approved for their bank cards so I started unsubscribing to these different banks for over 4 months now and still I'm receiving emails from them and still I have not been able to be pre-approved or approved for any banking at all and all I have been trying to do is pay my mother's hospice bills so that she can feel comfortable in passing she doesn't want to leave any debt behind so I have taken up the responsibility in trying to make her life easier before she does go once again sucks now my IP address is blocked from even contacting any of the banks like Discovery and I just keep getting the runaround it's a *** system Don't use it at all cost try to go another avenue

WalletHub is not a scam, and it doesn't sell your information. It shares your data with partners as a way to match you with financial offers. The pre-approved offers you received are from lenders, not WalletHub. However, you can see those offers on your WalletHub account.

You can opt out of receiving emails from lenders on optoutprescreen dot com. If you no longer wish to receive this type of email from WalletHub, press the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of that email. Pre-approval doesn't guarantee approval, even though it indicates good chances. Lenders consider factors like credit score, payment history, employment, income, debt-to-income ratio, and how often you apply for credit.

Applying for multiple cards at a time raises concerns.

A good idea would be to check the adverse action letters for the reasons why you were declined. Finally, if you cannot access lenders’ websites because your IP is blocked, you should contact them about it.

If your "Credit One" account balance seems outdated, it might be due to the lender's delay in updating TransUnion. While WalletHub checks for new information daily, delays in lender updates can affect when you see changes on your WalletHub profile. If it's been over 30 days since the balance was changed and you don't see the updated info on WalletHub, it's a good idea to contact the lender to ensure they've provided the necessary information to TransUnion.

As soon as the balance of your "Credit One" account is updated by TransUnion and WalletHub receives this information from them, your credit score and credit report will be modified accordingly. Finally, feel free to reach out to the WalletHub Help team via email at help at wallethub dot com.
