If you haven’t received a reply from the WalletHub Help team, please check your spam or junk folder, as their responses can sometimes end up there. If there’s still no reply, feel free to reach out again via email at help at wallethub dot com. That said, please note that WalletHub is not a bank or lender; it's a personal finance company offering free credit scores and reports to users. Regarding the soft inquiries you saw as coming from WalletHub, please keep in mind that these have no impact on your score and are only visible to you.

Hard inquiries, on the other hand, are when a lender pulls your info after a credit application. Since you didn't create a WalletHub account, it could mean that someone tried to register using your information.

For security reasons, WalletHub has no way to look up users based on their name. To be able to find and delete the account that might have been set up using your information, you would need to create a WalletHub account with your email address and verify your identity.

I have a restraining order against my neighbor, David Toner, for writing false anonymous reviews about my business, Westlake Mortgage. He posted a review on WalletHub, and when I reached out to WalletHub, they hung up on me and never replied to my emails outlining the issue. The next step is taking legal action.

Hi Michael! As the WalletHub team has already informed you, ratings cannot be removed from your company's profile page, as it's not possible to identify who left them.

Users can leave ratings without writing a review. However, your company's profile page has been updated to include your Google ratings, so your overall rating on WalletHub should now reflect that update as well.

How to sign for up grades

Every time I try to upgrade for better protection, it tells me to go to Wallet hub website to register. Where is the Wallet hub website for registering?

Is it because I have a tablet? Which is brand new. Do you need a laptop?.

Why are tablets getting harder and harder to download or upload anything on. I am running into this more and more.

If you're experiencing issues accessing your account via our website instead of the WalletHub app, you may need to temporarily disable the "Opening Links" feature in your device settings. To do this, go to your device’s settings, open “Apps” or “Application Manager,” select the WalletHub app, find the option labeled “Open by Default” or “Opening Links,” and disable it. Once this feature is disabled, you should be able to access the WalletHub website to upgrade to Premium without any issues.

The information you see on your WalletHub account, such as new accounts, is automatically retrieved from them. WalletHub cannot make any changes to your credit report or credit score.

The first step in investigating this issue is to directly contact the lender of the account that you don't recognize on your credit report. If needed, you can then file a formal dispute with TransUnion and the other credit bureaus.

Because I paid account from Verizon is still on wallet hub as being not paid

I paid off my Verizon bill on February 24th. We negotiated a deal and the bill was cut in half to $108, which was paid. However, it's still lingering on the WalletHub account.

Hi Orli! Please keep in mind that WalletHub simply displays your TransUnion credit report.

The information on your WalletHub account is automatically retrieved from TransUnion, and WalletHub cannot change anything on your credit report or credit score. If your balance seems outdated, it might be due to Verizon’s delay in updating TransUnion. While WalletHub checks for new info daily, lender delays can affect when updates appear on your profile.

If it's been over 30 days since the balance was changed and you don't see the updated info on WalletHub, it's a good idea to contact Verizon to ensure they've provided the necessary information to TransUnion. As soon as the balance of your Verizon account is updated by TransUnion and WalletHub receives this information from them, your credit score and credit report will be modified accordingly.

The information that you see on your WalletHub account, such as your lines of credit, is automatically retrieved from them, and WalletHub cannot change your credit report or credit score. When an account is closed—whether by you or the lender—your credit score might experience a temporary drop due to increased credit utilization, reduced average account age, and decreased account diversity. If you don’t recognize the HSBC account, it is recommended that you contact the lender directly to investigate further.

You should also file a dispute with TransUnion, as well as the other two credit bureaus if the unknown account appears there as well. If you need further assistance or have additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the WalletHub Help team via email at help at wallethub dot com.

The information that you see on your WalletHub account, such as your name(s), is automatically retrieved from them. WalletHub cannot change anything on your credit report. It's most likely one of your lenders updated your information with TransUnion. A good idea would be to check what names are listed on your Full Credit Report under Personal Information.

As long as you see your correct name(s) listed, other variations being added or dropped should not be a concern. This can happen when things are listed under nicknames on your credit report. If the information you see is not correct/updated, you will need to provide your lenders documents that show your current and accurate name(s). Once they change the information on your file, they will also report it to the credit bureaus, which typically happens once a month or at most 45 days.

As a result, your credit report should be updated with the correct name(s). If more than 45 days pass since you have informed your lenders or if they already had the correct information, you will need to file a dispute with each of the credit bureaus that shows the inaccurate information.
