Inaccurate data

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I paid off two accounts this month. My score was 696 before I paid them off.

I did not close these accounts. Why did my score drop on you network? The other credit reporting services have my score above 700!

Also, your data is reports account amounts and interest rates higher than they actually are! What gives?

WalletHub Help

Hi Marvin! WalletHub updates your credit report and score daily based on the information received from TransUnion between 3 and 6 a.m.

ET, even on weekends. Paying off debt should not typically lead to a credit score drop. You may be able to see the reason(s) behind your credit score changes here: https://***/home/credit-score-changes If there are no changes, review your credit report timeline for recent updates: https://***/home/credit-report?timeline Before paying off credit lines, you can use the Simulator tool on the Credit Analysis page: https://***/home/credit-analysis?simulator=true It helps predict score changes. On the same page you can see the factors affecting your score.

Finally, regarding the other credit scores you see, please know that different companies may use a different credit bureau or show you a different credit score model. They may also update your credit report and credit score only once a week or once a month. A good idea would be to focus on the overall trend rather than specific scores.

WalletHub uses the VantageScore 3.0 model. Learn more here: https://***/edu/real-credit-score/22363/

My credit was pulled by you and I didn't authorize that

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Made an attempt to contact them via their contact us form on their website and never heard anything from them didn't even get a confirmation of the email originally sent for the contact. This was due to primarily my identity theft situation. I'd also like to add that there is no customer service phone number available do you speak to a live human being which is very disturbing being that there are a financial entity for loans and whatnot

Preferred solution: This is affecting my credit score immensely hard inquiries drop credit scores I don't know if anybody has ever tried to dispute things on your credit bureaus but it's not an easy task time consuming on top of everything else

WalletHub Help

Hi John! Unfortunately, WalletHub does not currently offer phone support as this is a free service.

Just to clarify, WalletHub is not a bank or lender; it's a personal finance company offering free credit scores and reports to users. Regarding the soft inquiry you saw as coming from WalletHub, please keep in mind that it has no impact on your score, and is only visible to you. Hard inquiries, on other hand, are when a lender pulls your info after a credit application. Since you didn't create a WalletHub account, it could mean that someone tried to register with us using your information.

For security reasons, we have no way to look up users based on their name. To be able to find and delete the account that might have been set up using your information, you would need to create a WalletHub account with your email address and verify your identity. Finally, you can reach WalletHub Help team by email at help@***.com.

Please make sure to check your spam folder as well in case you don’t find their responses in your inbox. Best,

Pipers E

Hi Tonya, Unfortunately, WalletHub does not currently offer phone support as this is a free service. WalletHub simply shows you your TransUnion credit report.

If the balances appear to be out of date, it's most likely the lenders have not yet sent the update to them. We check for new info on your report every day, but if a lender does not send TransUnion balance updates fast enough, it will not immediately show up on your WalletHub profile. If more than 30 days pass, but you still don't see the correct balances, a good idea would be to contact the lenders about it, to make sure they sent the necessary info to TransUnion. Finally, feel free to reach WalletHub Help team with any concerns or questions you have.

You can do that by email at help at wallethub dot com. Best regards,

Marilyn A Sfl

Hacked

Man *** wallet hub. They have someone a student loan under my name and also let the same piece of *** try and take a loan out for a car.

They don't watch or protect our identity. Or SSN. I founds out who though. *** signed into my accounts and left them there.

Dumb *** criminal. I can't wait til he gets what is coming. If I could do it I would.

I'll let the law handle this one tho. I don't need another charge for some lazy *** company not to do their job.

WalletHub

Hi Dason! Please keep in mind that WalletHub simply shows you your TransUnion credit report.

The information that you see on your WalletHub account, such as your lines of credit, is automatically retrieved from them. WalletHub cannot remove items from your credit report or prevent credit applications in your name. Since you've experienced identity theft, it's important to take these steps: add a Credit Freeze to all three credit reports (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) to restrict access, consider adding a fraud alert to your credit reports and, if you find unfamiliar items on your report, contact the respective lender and start the dispute process with the credit bureaus. With that said, please know that WalletHub is and has always been completely free of charge.

We never ask for any payment information and there are no "free trials". Finally, feel free to contact the WalletHub Help team via email at help at wallethub dot com for any concerns or questions.

Im pissed they reported to all credit bureaus. I called chase and they know nothing about the charge.

They sent me a notice that there was a charge of $906 on my Chase credit card which I do not have a credit card and wallet. Hub reported it to Transunion which dropped my score 50 points. This is a scam.

I know, I know…pass it and blame it on the third party”. I get different info on my credit score from Credit Karma and Wallet Hub.

If one hub can’t get it right the first time and check with Transunion to make sure the credit scores are right then don’t post what you seem to feel.

The credit score is one credit karma score is much different. Thank you.

Hi Greg! The information that you see on your WalletHub account comes directly from TransUnion.

WalletHub cannot verify the accuracy of the information listed on your credit report. As for the different credit scores you see, WalletHub uses VantageScore 3.0 and TransUnion credit report, updating your score daily.

Other companies may update weekly/monthly and use different credit bureaus/models. There are thousands of scores out there and what you should be focused on is that whatever scores you check are all moving in the right direction.

WalletHub has credit cards that are misleading

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They have Credit cards that are misleading and have names that I never heard of and I applied for Aspire credit card and at the end of the application where I have to click, it didnt click at all, so I dropped the application. These credit cards with unfamiliar names like Destiny, Aspire and Maiden credit cards has to drop or stop advertising.

WalletHub

Hi there! Please note that you cannot apply for a line of credit directly on the WalletHub website or app.

The 'Apply' button is designed to redirect you to the lender's application page for the specific product you're interested in. Regarding the credit card information, while WalletHub aims to provide up-to-date terms, the data doesn't originate from WalletHub, and its accuracy isn't guaranteed. Actual rates and details can vary based on factors like creditworthiness and individual circumstances.

It's advisable to verify all terms and conditions with the offering institution before applying. If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact the WalletHub Help team via email at wallethub dot com.
